Bishopton Poker League Update

Game date - 13th June

The B.P.L's latest event saw newest member BeanznToast storm to a convincing win over the reduced field of 8.

It was a night of early exits as Taz flopped 2 pair only to call Mr G's all-in and see the over pair hit trips on the river.  Ouch.  BeanznToast took an early chip lead when Smokin Aces moved all-in with the nut flush and collided head on with a Full House.  The chips passed across the tale and we were down to 6.

Play tightened up over the next couple of levels. We saw some strong play fron The Silver Fox, and we also saw him run extreamly lucky where his loose calls with rags saw him make trips, twice !!  He inflicted the most pain on the gallant Mr G who eventually finished in 6th place.

The blind levels were increasing which ensured pots became tasty with players hungry to win them.  Silver Fox and BeanznToast increased their domination of the table when Gaffer became pot commited and missed, then Daz met a similar end soon after.

Millsy, who had been playing solidly, began to mount a come back - taking a substantial ammount from the Fox.

Silver Fox became our 3rd place finisher when he called what he thought was a maniacal all-in from chip leader Beanz.

Millsy succumned to Beanz' pressure and finished a respectable 2nd.
