Bishopton Poker League Results 15th August 2007

Bishopton Poker League Update

Game date - 15th August
Game Location - Bishopton Inn
Players - 12

In a week of mixed fortunes we see last weeks champ, Silver Fox, slip in his challenge for the top spot and we see Taz continue his run of strong play.

"All-in" was the cry when Paul caught a Queen high flush. Unfortunately No1_H had the nut flush and Paul was out in level one ..... unlucky.

Silver Fox was next to the rail and out with only 2 points to his total.

At table 1 Joint league leader Gaffer is nursing a short stack when Mr G makes a move, Gaffer is releived when Mr G is busted out by new-comer (and Mr G's son) Rab G. Mr G's exit is quickly followed by Hoppy, Weblomaniac and Rab G.

The final table starts at 200/400 and Gaffer is happpy as he quadruples up, but he is unable to capatalise and is still first out. The main contender for the league top spot, No1_H is out next with 8 points, not enough to clinch the top spot ..... No1_H is not a happy bunny.

Daz continues his impressive run with a 4th place finish. **The following is not a typo** - Taz finishes in 3rd place. He hits a 9 on the river to give him 2 pair, but XX90 has already filled his boat.

Heads up is a quick affair, Bean goes all in with A-10 and XX90 calls with A-9. Guess what..... a 9 hits on the flop, Bean doesn't improve and xx90 takes full points.
